Project | 01 fundamentals of information technology and networking
This project focuses on core networking and cybersecurity concepts essential to modern IT environments. It covers importing and deploying virtualized appliances in VMware, designing networks using subnetting and Virtual LANs (VLANs), and configuring IP routing for efficient traffic flow. The project also emphasizes security and reliability through vulnerability assessments, effective password management practices, and continuous network performance monitoring to ensure stability, efficiency, and protection of network resources.

Project | 02 cybersecurity Practices on Linux Systems
Project | 02: Cybersecurity Practices on Linux Systems
This project demonstrates my ability to implement essential cybersecurity practices in a Linux environment. Key tasks included file encryption and decryption, Nmap scanning, firewall configuration to close unnecessary ports, and enforcing multi-factor authentication (MFA) on Ubuntu using Google Authenticator. I also created a customized BYOD security policy, captured network traffic between virtual machines using Wireshark and Telnet, and performed a full vulnerability scan with Nessus to identify and assess potential security risks.

Project | 03
Project | 03 Infrastructure Security
•This project explored fundamentals of infrastructure security through hands-on labs and real-world scenarios.
•Activities included:
•Network traffic analysis with Wireshark
•Intrusion detection using Snort
•SSL/TLS encryption testing
•Firewall & DMZ configuration
•System and memory forensics
The goal was to apply cybersecurity concepts in practical environments, strengthen technical troubleshooting skills, and build a strong foundation for a career in IT and cybersecurity

Project | 04
Project | 04 Virtualization with Ubuntu
This project explores the use of the Arduino Integrated Development Environment (IDE) within a virtual machine to control physical hardware, demonstrating the integration of virtualized development environments with embedded systems. By leveraging a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS), the project enables concurrent task execution, allowing an LED to blink while simultaneously reading input from a potentiometer. Both tasks communicate through the same serial port, showcasing efficient resource sharing and task scheduling. This approach highlights the benefits of RTOS-based multitasking for embedded applications and illustrates how virtual machines can be effectively used for hardware development and testing.

Project | 05 Information Management system Contingency Plan
An Information Management Contingency Plan is critical for preparing information systems to respond to and recover from cyber incidents and operational disruptions. The objectives of this project are to restore Student Information Management Systems (SIMS) to a functional state after a cyber incident, maintain business continuity for educational operations, protect sensitive student data, and ensure compliance with FERPA privacy requirements.

Project | 06
Project | 06 IoT Home security system
The Internet of Things (IoT) is rapidly expanding, connecting everyday devices to the internet to improve automation, monitoring, and security. This project focuses on applying IoT concepts to design and develop a home security system. By integrating connected sensors and devices, the project demonstrates how IoT technology can be used to enhance home safety, enable real-time monitoring, and provide practical security solutions. The goal is to showcase how IoT systems work together to create a functional and scalable home security application.
